Cat's Eye, or Lehsunia, is the gemstone of Ketu, the south lunar node. In Vedic tradition it is associated with intuition, protection and detachment from unsettled influences. The finest is chrysoberyl, valued for a sharp, bright band of light — the chatoyant 'eye' — across a smooth honey-to-green body.
